1-15 PvP

I thought i would dedicate a post to my favorite place on Shaiya

Proelium Frontier ( 1-15 PvP)

About:
Proelium Frontier is the PvP area for players from level 1 to 15 there is only one alter on this map which is the Proelium Alter. The goal in 1-15 and in any other PvP areas is to capture the alter once captured you get some bless which gives you various stat boosts.

Map:
Proelium Frontier is the smallest of all PvP zone's here's a map of the zone

Kills:
Getting kills in PvP gains ranks which can be transfered into stat points when you reach level 16 (if you want to) Here is a rank table of how many points you get per rank.

That was the basics of 1-15 PvP

Classes

There are 5 diffrerent types of classes

Dark .....|...... Light
Warrior = Fighter

Guardian = Defender

Oracle = Priest

Assassin = Ranger

Pagan = Mage

Hunter = Archer

There's isnt really much different between Light and Dark charcters they ahve the same skills, Just different maps and pvp areas and a view other things.

Before i start i should mention every class has a bonus stat point each level they gain these are:

Fighter/Warrior ---> Str
Defender/Guardian ---> Rec
Priest/Oracle ---> Wis
Ranger/Assassin ---> Dex
Mage/Pagan ---> Int
Archer/Hunter ---> Luc

Now lets start.

Warrior/Fighter

These are the up close and personal of the game, though some MP (Magic) is needed in a Fighter/Warrior. These characters in Shaiya are quite easy to level as they can solo really well, but also have the ability to party and Duo with a Oracle/Preist. There are more Warrior/Fighters in PvP than any other class in server (Etain) anyway they usually control the battle ground and a lot of fighters use Nostrums (See Nostrums Guide) to control.

Guardian/Defender

These characters like to get up close and personal to the enemy usually referred as "Tanks" these characters can take multiple monsters/players and hardly take any damage on the downside you cant hit anything on those monsters which is why its essential to have a party when you want to level, You hardly see Guardian/Defenders in PvP as most people know what they are know they cant hit them so just leave them.

Oracle/Preist

These characters like to stay back and heal and usually don't attack. they are party essential and you shouldn't really party without them they also have some very good buffs that increase your offense and defense. There is also a different build for these characters called a BattleOrc/BattlePreist these go full INT with there stat points meaning they get good attacks, but can also heal (Note: battle/orc/preist are only used for PvP and usually only Hard Mode and Ultimate)

Assassin/Ranger

These characters are the spy's of the group they like to sneak around killing players and Stun locking players/Monster so they cant attack back, good at soloing but party's don't really need them, they are also a very good PvP class when HM and UM.

Pagan/Mage

These characters like to stay back and use AoE (Area Of Effect) Attacks to defeat there enemy's but also have some very good single attacks, these characters are good at soloing but at their best when in a party with a tank who can take all the aggro so you can easily kill them, You don't see them that often in PvP but they can be pretty good if a Oracle/Preist is covering them.

Archer/Hunter

These characters like to stay back but cause a lot of damage when need be, though these characters arn't the best solo's or good in party's so mainly used in PvP but there are some good high level Archer/Hunters around. Usually use Nostrums in PvP and are pretty good normally characters are more of a all rounder.

That pretty much sums up all the classe's i may edit this at a later date to add some more stuff

Shaiya Mode's

Tonight I'm going to talk about the four different modes in Shaiya that you can play.

Stat Points (Per Level)
5
Skill Points (Per level)
3

If your new to Shaiya i would still recommend not using easy mode, you don't get any special skills and its only a little bit easier than normal mode. But i would recommend this if you just want to play the game a few hours a week or just to try out various tactics and stat techniques.

Stat Points (PL)
5
Skill Points (PL)
3

This is the highest mode you can get to if you haven't had a character to level 40 before, this is were your journey on Shaiya begins. you get the same skill/stat points as on easy mode but you can defiantly tell the difference, you also get some special skills that really do help in PVE & PvP.
Once you level a character to level 40 you can then move on to Hard Mode, But never delete your Normal Mode you will always need it.

Stat Points (PL)
7
Skill Points (PL)
5

This is were it starts to get fun but also very boring after hitting level 20, You can only unlock this mode once you reach level 40 in Normal Mode. you can access more quests, items and more skills that Normal Mode and Easy Mod, Don't play this world if you can only get on a few days a week not really any point.

Stat Points (PL)
9
Skill points (PL)
5

Unlocked when Hard Mode character leveled to 40 max level is 60, when this mode is unlocked you can wear loads of new armour items, quests and a lot more skills. There is one downside to Ultimate Mode once you die you have a 3 minute counter for someone or yourself to resurrect yourself with special items bought on Aeria Games. Death does not risk after Duels between player vs player, But does effect the the PvP area.

That's the basic stats and information on all modes on Shaiya

A Day On Shaiya

Well to add to the blog I've created a 5 part series all about shaiya. Part one id released with this post and Part 2,3,4 and 5 will come withing the month of March, once all video's are released i will add them all together into one post.

What I'm trying to gain from these video's is:

  • More traffic to my blog
  • More traffic to Aeria Games
  • To get more people to learn about shaiya
Hopefully I will accomplish these.
So Here you are.

Part one contains Combat, PvP, Community

I Hope you enjoyed.
